Michelle and I decided to take a break today around 4:00 p.m. and see if we could find some feeder flocks of warblers on the mountain behind our house. We ran into serveral feeder flocks, a big change from the slow birding months of July and August. Warbler species included Black-throated Green, Cerulean, Hooded, Worm-eating, Yellow-throated, Black-and-white, Blackburnian, Tennessee, and Northern Parula. We also found lots of interesting plant and insect life. Michelle and I both took our cameras and here are some pictures we took along the way.
