The Central Ontario Branch of the Kidney Foundation of Canada held a Gala fundraiser April 21, 2005 at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto. The Kidney Foundation is a national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through: Funding and research; Education and support; Access to healthcare; and Public awareness programs to advance kidney health and organ donation. As a volunteer with the Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN), I was honored to be invited as a guest and attend with members of the Board of Directors of TGLN and the TGLN executive staff.
